Dominant from the start, the Bulls led 18-0 at half-time before powering away with the game in the second half.
Despite putting more points on the board Southcity captain-coach Nick Skinner is looking for his team to improve.
“We ended up winning pretty easily, but it was a bit of a dogfight and a bit scrappy in the second half,” Skinner said.
“There was a fair bit of drop ball and we will need to be better next week against Young.”
With an easy draw to start the season Skinner is looking forward to challenging the Cherrypickers next Sunday.
Jack Lyons and Mitch Curran both had strong games.
