The federal government has committed $922,980 to extend Calvary’s Riverina Drug and Alcohol Centre operations until June 2016.
The commitment follows Calvary Riverina CEO Joanne Williams stating a fortnight ago the deadly drug rivalled alcohol as the most primary substance of concern.
The centre is one of 160 alcohol and drug treatment organisations to have their funding extended.
