A big division scheme on to-day. We fell in at 5.40 but just before we left the Bde sent over for a man. Leeson and I were picked. I did not have to go until 2p.m. so I had the morning to myself. I gave my new tunic to Bob Wilson to fix up. I lay on bunk reading until it was time to go on duty. I fell right into all the work. About eight o’clock I had to take messages to Div. Headquarters, Div. Artillery (unreadable), Div. Engineers, Div. Signallers and the 1st Art. Bde. The Div. H.Q. gave me some more messages to take to Bde. H.Q. I finished up about five minutes past the First Post. All the boys are drunk but I went to bed and very soon was asleep. I finished the letter to Mim this morning.
