Southcity, Brothers and Kangaroos all prevailed over visiting teams in a new-look pre-season competition in Wagga.
An undermanned Southcity edged out Queanbeyan Blues 20-16 in the first game.
Brothers scored 20 unanswered points in the second half to beat Coogee Dolphins 34-18.
Then Kangaroos finished off a Wagga whitewash with a 26-8 win over their namesake from Queanbeyan.
Brothers took home the Charity Shield after raising the most money on the day.
New Brothers coach Ben Black said his team left plenty of room for improvement.
"It wasn’t too bad,” Black said.
“It was a bit sloppy but it’s our first game and we were getting to know each other a bit.
“We scored some nice tries when we had the ball, we’ve just got to hold possession.
“It was a good hit-out and we can only improve, which is a bonus.
“We got the result though too, which was good.”
New recruits Doc Halliday and Kirren Roughley impressed in the centres, while Noa Futu was solid at full-back.
