South Wagga were able to reserve the result of the major semi-final a fortnight ago and get the better of Turvey Park in a gripping grand final showdown.
While it was back-to-back successes for Warriors, Turvey Park were forced to deal with grand final heartache for the second consecutive year.
Warriors got off to an early 1-0 lead in the first innings of the day, before both teams’ pitchers got on top with no runs scored again until the top of the fifth.
Turvey Park got back within two runs going into the final innings but it was not to be as the Warriors made it back-to-back premiership wins.
