Chopper rescues climber
PARAMEDICS were forced to stretcher a woman on foot for more than a kilometre after she broke her ankle in rugged bushland at The Rock on Friday.

About 11.30am paramedics received reports that the 66-year-old woman had fallen over at The Rock Nature Reserve and broken her ankle.
The first crew that responded had to hike for about three kilometres of bushland to find her.
Once extracted from the area, she was taken to Wagga Base Hospital by ambulance.
