Wagga’s annual Food and Wine Festival has become a signature event for the city – drawing people of all ages to the lagoon.
Chairman Tim Barter said the vibe would be upbeat and cheery.
Mr Barter said 48 stores would be featured along the lagoon, with a variety of local produce on offer, to give consumers a taste of what the area can deliver.
The Wollundry-Rotary club event will donate funds raised to the Wagga Women’s Health Centre.
The organisation was selected from 14 applicants.
The donated money will be used by the organisation to start a new initiative targeting domestic violence.
Mr Barter said the charity aspect of the event was fundamental to the heart of the festival, and ensured punters could enjoy the day knowing it was for worthy cause.
