AFL Riverina have extended the embargo on clearances until Thursday.
“I would like to thank those clubs that have refrained from approaching Turvey Park FNC players and respected the situation that Turvey Park is working through,” Irons said.
“But it is extremely disappointing that some clubs, from both competitions, have ignored this request and have approached Turvey Park players.
“No other clubs have notified AFL RIverina that their numbers are in such a dire situation that they need to target Turvey Park players to fulfil their requirements...and the tactics employed is simply cherry picking.”
