Wagga junior tennis semi-finals will commence at Bolton Park on Saturday, with 24 teams – competing in six divisions – vying for grand final positions.
Coordinator Andrew Phillips said 14 rounds of competitive and high-class junior tennis will culminate in the much-anticipated semi-finals.
"There should be some very exciting and dynamic tennis played," Phillips said. "These semi-finals will bring together some of the best junior players in the region, so there should be some pretty good games played."
Saturday's action will see the top-ranked team in each division play the fourth-placed squad, while second on the ladder will meet third.
Close to 60 teams contested the junior tennis competition this season. “It’s been a good season,” Andrews said.
“We have seen some strong tennis played.”
Division 1A is shaping up as arguably the competition’s most hotly-contested.
Just two points separates top-placed Kooringal Cobras from fourth-placed Bolton Park Titans.
Cobras will meet the Titans, while Bolton Park Slazengers will play the South Wagga Bombers.
