Do have a heart - this is no way to treat grieving families or honour their dead.
Is the DA losing its soul?

Anger over vandalism at new eternal flame
AS SECRETARY of the Wagga RSL sub-branch I would like to, on behalf of all veterans and members of our sub-branch, express our disgust and disappointment at the defacing of the newly installed eternal flame.
A few of our members have reported that somebody has placed what appears to be a plastic bottle on the flame.
On inspection, the bottle has melted and left a molten mess on the surrounds of the flame.
This will entail a cost to all Wagga people to remove the mess.
Let's hope this is an isolated incident.

Rip-off continues at the local petrol pump
WHY has there been a sudden spike of 10.4 cents per litre in the price of unleaded petrol in Wagga (up from 123.5 cents per litre to 133.9 cents per litre)?
Where is the useless ACCC and their so called enquiry into regional petrol prices?
The great Wagga petrol price rip off continues unabated.

Wagga takes big step for mental health help
I AM writing to thank the residents of Wagga and surrounding areas who welcomed the beyondblue National Roadshow team so warmly on our recent visit.
During our stops in Wagga, Lockhart, Narrandera, Griffith, Ungarie, Temora and Young it was great to meet so many people who told us that they, or someone they know, have benefited from the work beyondblue has done over the past 15 years.
The many insightful conversations we had about mental health confirmed that there is still a great need for beyondblue to continue raising awareness, reducing stigma, providing information and support to people with depression and anxiety, and their families, and tackling suicide.
Our big blue bus will continue travelling around until the end of May, encouraging people to make a pledge and tune in to their mental health, open up about common mental health problems like depression and anxiety, take action to get support if needed, and join us by supporting beyondblue’s work.
For those who missed our visit, you can always get information and find out where to get help in your area at www.beyondblue.org.au
If you, or someone you know, is having a tough time and you need to talk to someone, please contact the trained mental health professionals at our confidential support service 24 hours a day on 1300 22 4636 or chat online (3pm to 12am) or email us at www.beyondblue.org.au/getsupport
We are very grateful for the opportunity we had to work with and meet so many wonderful people.
We want to thank you for your encouragement and we proudly give you our commitment to continue working to assist people with depression and anxiety and their families – wherever they live in Australia.
Thank you Wagga for “Taking 1 step”.
