Charles Sturt University (CSU) lecturer Julie Montgarrett and creative producer from The Cad Factory Sarah McEwan are co-curating the Reassembling Your Point of View exhibition from March 6 to 25 at the HR Gallop Gallery at CSU.
The exhibition will feature 21 female artists from Wagga, Leeton, Narrandera, Temora, Coolamon and Uranquinty working in the mediums of weaving, installation, video, photography, painting, sculpture and printmaking.
“Looking back over 40 years of International Women’s Day celebrations, it is heartening to see how much it has changed and equally frustrating to recognise how much is still to be debated and resolved,” Ms Montgarrett said.
Jan Roberts OAM will officially open the exhibition on March 8 from 2pm.
