The program will see students graduate with multiple TAFE awards and a bachelor degree from Charles Sturt University along with industry certification from Cisco Systems, one of the world's largest computer networking firms.
"This is the best undergraduate IT program I have ever seen, and graduates of the program will have excellent employment prospects," CSU school of computing and mathematics course director Jason Howarth said.
Mr Howarth said the course had been designed as a response to predictions of new job opportunities being created in the IT sector in the coming five years from the Department of Employment.
The program will be available in Wagga and Albury, with students who enrol dividing their face-to-face study time between TAFE and CSU campuses.
Two-thirds of the program will be conducted at TAFE.
An information session for prospective students will be held at TAFE Riverina Institute's Wagga campus on Wednesday at 5.30pm.
