POLICE are continuing investigations after a stolen car smashed into a pole in Adams Street, Ashmont last night.

At 11pm on Friday night police were notified of a car doing burnouts in the suburb.
The car, a 1994 Holden, had been reported stolen from Wodonga.
Police went to the area and could not find the car.
It later drove past police, who then heard the car collide with a pole in Adams Street.
When police attended the scene they found 50 people crowded around the car.
Police say these people did not co-operate.
Two women were found in the area with injuries consistent to those sustained from a crash.
They were conveyed to Wagga Base Hospital.
A short time later two men attended the hospital.
They also had injuries consistent with those sustained from a car crash.
Police allege these four people, aged in in their 20s, were travelling in the car at the time of this accident.
Police seized the car and items inside of it. Both are being examined.
At this stage no arrests have been made and police are continuing their investigations.
