WAGGA will take a more balanced side into the second O'Farrell Cup challenge of the season, coming up against Ardlethan-Barellan at the Wagga Cricket Ground on Sunday
Wagga took in a batsman heavy line-up to tackle Griffith in the first challenge a fortnight ago, but have consolidated the bowling stocks.
Captain Joel Robinson comes back into team after pulling out injured on game day and young all-rounder Jack Harper and paceman Jake Hindmarsh coming in.
Hindmarsh was initially named in the O'Farrell Cup team to take on Griffith, but was unavailable for the clash.
Nick Grant gained a late call up for Robinson, but retains his place in the team with Josh Thompson, Rob Nicoll and Luke Gerhard coming out.
With Hindmarsh, Grant and Luke Hillier leading the pace attack Robinson doesn't believe there will be as much emphasis on the all-rounders with the ball.
"We've got a lot of all-rounders and now we have the three quicks with Hindmarsh, Grant and Luke Hillier so there's a little bit less pressure for the all-rounders to bowl as much," Robinson said.
"They can possibly concentrate more on their batting and getting a bit of a spell.
"I still think they all-rounders are more than good enough to do the job, but it will ease their workload a little bit."
Ardlethan-Barellan haven't enjoyed success in the O'Farrell Cup in over a decade and went down by nine wickets in their challenge last year after posting 64.
Despite playing them last season, Robinson remains in the dark about his opponent.
"I don't know much about them, we played them last year and a couple of guys used to play in Wagga," Robinson said.
Ardlethan-Barellan's team was not made available.
