5.20pm: A 42-YEAR-OLD man was trapped in his truck for several hours on Thursday morning after rolling his vehicle on the Newell Highway near Ardlethan.

The man was airlifted to Canberra Hospital by the Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter after emergency services worked for several hours to free him from his vehicle.
He remained in a stable condition at the hospital on Thursday night.
Police and paramedics were called to the crash site on the Newell Highway, about five kilometres north of Ardlethan, shortly after 6am on Thursday after reports of a truck rollover.
When they arrived at the scene, they discovered the truck rolled and its driver stuck inside its wrecked cabin.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said on Thursday morning the man has been "trapped by compression" and he was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
The highway was closed fully for more than three hours before one lane was initially reopened.
It was fully reopened in both directions about 11.30am.
Meanwhile, a separate truck accident occurred nearby on the Burley Griffin Way near Beckom about 7.45am on Thursday.
No one was injured in that crash.
Police were initially concerned that fuel may have been leaking from the vehicle but later tests revealed it was only water.
12.45pm: All lanes on the Newell Highway five kilometres north of Ardlethan have been re-opened following this morning's truck rollover.

Emergency services are still on site at the accident, along with the Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter.
Meanwhile, another truck accident occurred near Beckom about 7.45am this morning.

8.44am: The Newell Highway is closed near Ardlethan as emergency services work to free a trapped driver after a truck rolled early on Thursday morning.
Police and paramedics were called to the crash site, around five kilometres north of Ardlethan, shortly after 6am on Thursday.
Upon arrival, they discovered a truck rollover and the male driver stuck inside the wreck.
A spokeswoman for NSW Ambulance confirmed a 42-year-old man was "trapped by compression" and was being treated by multiple paramedics at the scene.
The Snowy Hydro Southcare helicopter has been called in to transfer the patient when he is freed from the vehicle.
As at 8.45am, the highway was still closed as work continues to free the trapped driver from the wreckage of the truck.
However, it appears that emergency services are expecting the extrication process to take some time, with the NSW Transport Management Centre advising motorists on the Newell Highway to either avoid the area or expect significant delays.
Traffic has been diverted through Ardlethan and Beckom.
