Two businesses on Baylis Street and two more on Fitzmaurice Street were targeted by thieves with police on Tuesday working to piece together the events of the latest round of break-ins.
"Investigations are continuing, with forensic services police attending the locations and conducting their investigations," Inspector David Abercrombie from Wagga police said.
Since the start of the year, numerous businesses in the CBD have fallen victim to brazen thieves.
On the evening of January 5, eight Baylis Street businesses located in the Baylis Centre were broken into by thieves.
That same night, Rabobank on Peter Street was also the victim of a break and enter.
The following week, Turning Heads Hairdressing on Morgan Street became the next business to fall victim to thieves, with donations worth $60 stolen along with a sign and a stub of raffle tickets.
Meanwhile, a 44-year-old man had his licence suspended on Australia Day after being caught travelling at 167km/h in a 100km/h zone on Bakers Lane.
The man was issued with a penalty notice for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h and fined $2252.
His car's licence plates were confiscated by Traffic and Highway Patrol officers and his licence was suspended for six months.
