IN A fitting finish to the $14,000 Phoenix Accounting And Business Services Junee Pacers Cup (2147m) it was two Junee reinsmen who battled to the line.
Only a neck separated them, but is was Trevor White and Hollywood Sign who reigned supreme.
Bruce Harpley and Sokys Bigbullet had to settle for second in equal track record mile rate of 1:58.8.
After a frenetic finish not even White could believe he'd pulled off the win in his hometown cup for the second time.
"He went terrific the little horse," White said.
"I didn't think he could get home as we went so hard but he tries his heart out."
With $1.70 favourite Business In Motion, Sokys Bigbullet ($20.70) and Hollywood Sign ($13.60) battling out for the early lead, there was no respite once Hollywood Sign found the lead.
Nathan Jack came around on Indi Bapu ($7.50) posting Temora Pacers Cup winner Modern Max three-wide in the blistering first quarter of 28.4 seconds.
However as they straightened for the final occasion, Hollywood Sign wouldn't be denied.
"I hadn't pulled the earplugs when we straightened and was just hoping he had a bit left," White said.
"I thought Bruce would have to beat me on the turn as he was breathing down my neck.
"The others were gone and I couldn't keep him in but the little horse dug in."
White leases the gelding with his nephew David White and his friend Matthew Peden.
David moved to New Zealand last year to work for Paul and Graham Court and surprised everyone by flying in last night.
After winning the Junee Pacers Cup in 1986, Trevor had a big night out claiming a heat of the Monster Plant Sale Drivers Invitational Drivers Challenge with Shes A Jackson.
Driven by New Zealand reinsman Anthony Butt, the mare claimed the narrowest victory at $21.
