2pm: Community celebrations and free sausage sizzle, followed by the screening of family movies at the Barmedman Mineral Pool.

6.30pm: Barbecue dinner at Mirrool Park with entertainment from bush poet Bernie Kearins.
Australia Day ambassador is concert master violinist Don Hazlewood.
11am to 2pm: Merriwagga Community Hall. There will be a presentation of Australia Day awards, a free lunch of cold meats and salads. Merriwagga craft group will display their quilts and light entertainment will be available throughout the day. This is an RSVP event.
HILLSTON
Noon: A free sausage sizzle will be held at the Ex-Servicemenfs Club followed by a local talent show.
RANKINS SPRINGS
7am to 9am: The park will come to life with a gold coin donation barbecue breakfast, followed by the presentation of the Rankins Springs awards.
Australia Day ambassador will be Olympic water polo gold medallist Debbie Watson.
8am: A community breakfast will be held at the Beckom Hall followed by an official awards presentation.
10am: An official ceremony will proceed, including a flag raising, mayoral address, presentation of awards and ambassador address.

8am: A flag-raising ceremony will be followed by a barbecue breakfast to be served at Jubilee Park.
8.15am: There will be a horse-and-carriage display.

11am: Pool party at the aquatic centre, which will include activities for families.

9am: Australia Day awards will be presented followed by a musical performance from Gerogery Public School children. After the official ceremony, morning tea will be provided again by Gerogery Community and sponsored by council.
The World Peace Flame and sculpture will also be on display at Gerogery Public School as well as fire trucks, vintage and historical vehicles.

9am: A citizenship ceremony will take place at Woodside Hall followed by ongoing activities at Pioneer Park.

9am: A mayoral address will be followed with citizenship awards.

WOMBAT
Noon: A tractor pull will be at the Wombat Recreation ground.

3.00pm to 8.30pm: John Houston Memorial Swimming Pool.

7am: Start the day by registering for the Jail Break funrun, which kicks off at 7.30am at Park Lane.
8am: Breakfast will be served at the Junee Junction Recreation and Aquatic Centre.
9.30am: Australia Day celebrations in the stadium begin.
11.30am: Novelty events can be enjoyed by all.
Noon: Free entry to the Recreation Centre ends.
12.30 to 3pm: Cool off by enjoying the water slide at no charge.

7.30am: The day will kick off with a breakfast at Mountford Park.
8am: The town band will begin performing throughout the park.
9.15am: An official flag raising, affirmation and presentation of awards will start. The afternoon will be filled with fun family activities at the Leeton pool. Entry will be free but patrons are encouraged to bring deck chairs, blankets and sunscreen.
MURRAMI
7.30am: The Country Women's Association (CWA) will serve a hot breakfast in an alfresco dining area at the Murrami Community hall. The hall grounds will be busy with the Australia Day community cricket match encouraging healthy competition between local kids.
Murrami Public School memorabilia will also be on display including photos, uniforms, plaques, a time capsule from the school and a small book stall.
YANCO
7am: A $5 cooked breakfast will be served at the Yanco Hall.
9am: A flag-raising cermony and affirmation service will be held out the front of the hall.
The Australia Day ambassador will be Winter Olympic Games figure skater Jo Carter.
8am: A free breakfast will be served at The Rock Swimming Complex.
10am: The official awards ceremony will begin.
The Australia Day ambassador will be Gary Dawson.
8am: The Lions Club will cook up a hearty breakfast for $2 a head. There will be no charge for pre-schoolers. There will be a dress up Aussie character theme, with spot judging on the day. There will be a display of the best decorated thongs in the council office.
8.30am: Entries for the best decorated Aussie cupcakes must be registered with Kim Maness.
9am: The official ceremony, including award presentation begins.
DARLINGTON POINT
11.45am: Visitors should begin arriving at the CWA Park before ceremonies start at 12pm.
Noon: The official awards presentation will begin followed by the cutting of cake and lunch.
The Australia Day ambassador will be retired ambulance special casualty access paramedic Paul Featherstone.
8am: Lionfs Club breakfast at the Narrandera Park.
9am: Australia Day ceremony and thanksgiving service at the Narrandera Park.
11am: Yabby races in the beer garden of Narrandera Hotel Top Pub.
Noon: DJ and Coin Toss at Lake Talbot Swimming Complex.
BARELLAN
10.30am: Celebrations will start at Barellan pool. A flag-raising ceremony, poetry recitals and a damper-making contest will be part of the day, followed by a barbecue.
GRONG GRONG
9am: A barbecue breakfast will be held at Grong Grong Park.
The Australia Day ambassador will be House Rules judge Joe Snell.
8am: A barbecue breakfast will be held at Davey Park in Ariah Park.
5pm: The official ceremony will be followed by music and entertainment.
The Australia Day ambassador will be Commonwealth Games and World Champion rifle shooter Warren Potent.
8am: The day will kick off with a barbecue breakfast provided by the Rotary Club. Entertainment from local musicians will occur throughout the morning.
9am: Official award ceremonies will begin.
3pm: A pool party will be held at Tumut pool with a barbecue, music and games.
BATLOW
8am: A hearty Australian breakfast will be served at Memorial Park.
ADELONG
Noon: Celebrations will start at the Adelong S&C club.
TALBINGOW
10.45am: There will be a pipes performance at Tumbarumba Library garden area.
11am: The official service will begin, involving presentation of awards and mayoral address.
Noon: A barbecue lunch will be served.
Saturday, January 24
2pm: Picnic at the Oasis. Enjoy free entry from 2pm to 6pm, so pack a picnic and sit by the pool to get relief from the heat.
6.15pm: Enjoy a performance of the Lizard of Oz at the amphitheatre.
7pm: Wagga Australia Day awards, ceremony and concert will take place at the Civic Theatre.
Sunday, January 25
9am: Continue to relax into the weekend by perusing market stalls while your kids enjoy rides at the Victory Memorial Gardens.
6.30pm: Take the family to the park and enjoy Happy Feet 2 under the stars.
Monday, January 26
7am: 2WG is hosting a free community breakfast at the Victory Memorial Gardens.
9am: Meet Wagga's newest citizens at the Victory Memorial Gardens.
The ambassador will be local author Valeria Paru.
7.30am: The day will kick off with a barbecue and youth entertainment session at Carrington Park.
10am: The Australia Day awards will be announced, followed by a tree-planting ceremony.
- Australia Day races, Wagga
The Australia Day races at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club.
- Ardlethan pool fun
The Ardlethan Pool will host the inflatables on Australia Day, so head there with the family to cool off on the way home from the Coolamon Shire Council celebrations at Beckom.
- Gerogery celebrates
The Gerogery community hall will be open following the Australia Day ceremony, with local history and entries in the art competition on display. The Gerogery Hotel will hold a barbecue lunch and has entertainment - including farm animals, childrens playground and live music - for the whole family.
- Hay pool party
The John Houston Memorial Pool in Lachlan Street hosts a big afternoon of activities on Australia Day. From 3pm, there will be inflatables toys, 15m treasure chest in the big pool, Rip Curl slide and chalk drawing, lucky fish and colouring competitions. The activities run until 8.30pm. Sausage sizzle and snow cones will be available.
