Troy Gregory Cunneen, 23, of Forbes, was due to appear in Parkes Local Court last week for sentencing after pleading guilty last month to 11 offences, including multiple counts of uttering counterfeit money knowing it to be counterfeit.
But Cunneen did not turn up to court at Parkes, leading to the magistrate issuing an arrest warrant.
Cunneen was arrested on October 2 after police stopped his car on the Hume Highway near Gundagai.
Officers seized what they claimed were a number of pieces of paper with images of $50 notes.
Police alleged they had identified a number of businesses that had been given fake notes in Gundagai, Forbes, the ACT and Victoria.
