THE field for the annual West Wyalong knockout is complete.
An extremely strong response has all 16 places booked by Christmas and even one club has been placed on "stand by" after narrowly missing out.
Group Nine clubs will make up half of the knockout with Brothers, Junee and Tumbarumba snapping up three of the remaining eight spots that were available.
Leeton, Yenda and Tullibigeal Lakes United (TLU) added some Group 20 presence, while Group 10 club Orange CYMS and Group 11's Forbes Magpies will return to the knockout.
Goulburn Workers are on stand by should any club pull out.
There will be $13,000 in prizemoney up for grabs at the two-day knockout and West Wyalong official Peter Campbell has been rapt with the response from club for next year's event.
"This is again a very strong group of clubs to fight out the 2015 event and particularly a great turn out of Group Nine clubs," Campbell said.
"It may seem crazy to be talking rugby league at Christmas, but, kick off is just 10 weeks away.
"Bring it on."
The knockout will be conducted over the weekend of February 27 and 28.
Group Nine clubs will be looking to build on its formidable record at the knockout in recent times.
Group Nine clubs have won seven of the past eight finals.
Albury Thunder will return to defend its crown next year.
