The easy win for the Blues continues their move up the ladder as Wagga RSL now teeter on the edge of the top four and a finals berth.
The Bulldogs started the season well, undefeated in the opening four rounds, but the Christmas break couldn't come at a better time for the struggling team.
They narrowly avoided an outright loss in round five before heavy defeats in the next two rounds.
South Wagga continued the pain with a seven wicket win at McPherson Oval on Saturday.
In conditions described by Blues captain-coach Joel Robinson as ordinary and slow, Wagga RSL were dismissed for 92.
The sundries topped scored with 20 with Luke Oakley and Shaun Perry's effort of 15 the next best.
In response South Wagga lost Brayden Ambler (four) and Chris Stacey (one) early before Robinson (37) and Luke Gerhard (24 not out) steered the Blues home in the 32nd over.
Robinson was happy with pick up another win to keep the competition between Kooringal, Wagga City and themselves tight at the top of the ladder.
"We just had to do our little bit and we came out of the box well chasing a small target," he said.
"We just did what we had to do."
In a team performance, all six of the Blue's bowlers picked up at least one wicket.
"Everyone did their little bit with a couple of wickets (each) and a run out," Robinson said.
"It was a good all round performance."
When the season resumes South Wagga will have a sterner test, facing premiers Wagga City at McPherson Oval.
Wagga RSL will have a tough task on January 17, facing the high-flying Kooringal.
