STUDENTS across the region received notification of their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) on Thursday, the numbers which help determine their entry into tertiary study.

One of the students excited about the results being released is Hayley Morris.
Miss Morris who was named dux of Wagga Christian College received 96.45.
"To actually see the number on screen after thinking 'there's no way' is just so relieving," she said.
Miss Morris credited the support of her parents and teachers and was blown away with the result - she will go on to study economics at the University of New South Wales.
"Faith in God has helped at times when I was feeling overwhelmed, knowing he never gives you something you can't handle," she said.
Miss Morris was pleased to be able to show a small country school such as Wagga's Christian College was capable of helping students achieve great results.
Wagga Christian College principal Hugh MacCallum said many of the school's students demonstrated diligence, character and excellence during HSC studies.
"Hayley Morris' results were remarkable - especially when added to her success on the sporting field, in college leadership and also in receiving the prestigious Pierre de Coubertin award," he said.
"These results further reinforce the results our students have consistently been achieving over recent years and demonstrate the positive outcomes of our focus on teaching and learning."
He also highlighted the writing and wisdom of Erin Burrows and the consistent diligence of Caitlin Miller.
"So many others achieved results they and we can be proud of ... I am proud of all of our students and the character they have displayed," Mr MacCallum said.
