THE flood of players leaving Southcity hasn't stopped yet, but the club has announced two new signings from rival clubs.
Looking to reverse the one-way trend of players leaving Southcity this off season, Bulls president Rod Porter announced Mick Glanville and Kade MacDonald are joining the club for 2015.
A travel weary Glanville has agreed to leave Cootamundra after four years commuting from Wagga.
"Mick come and had a chat to us as he's been travelling back and forward for the last four years and is a bit sick of travelling," Porter said.
"Since he's living in Wagga he wanted to play with a club in town."
MacDonald has also confirmed his move from Kangaroos.
The club is still searching for outside backs and Porter is hopeful to have another quality player locked in by the new year.
In more good news for the under siege Bulls, lock Mitch Curran has denied advances from Temora.
Curran was tipped to be the next Southcity player to join former coach Daniel Fitzhenry at the Dragons, but Porter revealed he had recommitted to the club yesterday.
Porter said retaining Curran was a great sign for the club that has lost experienced players in Fitzhenry, Scott Bowden, Peter Little and Will Merritt.
"The great thing about Mitch staying is he keeps some experience within the club as we have a pretty young team outside of Nick (Skinner) and Mitch Curran," Porter said.
"He'll give Nick a bit of a guiding hand."
Porter believes veteran Matt Ward will play on next year and with the addition of front rower Jaye Pukepuke believes the club remains in a strong position.
After having a relatively unchanged line-up under Fitzhenry's four years with the club, Porter doesn't think the fresh start under Skinner will be a bad thing.
"We've had a solid side for four years and you have to have some turnover somewhere across the line," Porter said.
"You know it's coming and it's a matter of whether you cope with the change and I think we can.
"It gives everyone a fresh start and Nick comes in with fresh ideas and different ideas to Daniel.
"At the end of the day we've kept the majority of our squad, lost a couple of good ones but might have a couple of good ones coming in which keeps all the young guys fresh."
