The family event - which is more than 35 years old - was officially launched at the Civic Theatre yesterday, with some new faces to be spotted in the line-up as well as the age-old favourites.
The headline act, The Australian Army Band Kapooka, will be joined by local artists Cathy Wall, Meredith Adams, Michael Whittington, Harry Mangelsdorf and Troy Fisher.
The Combined Schools Choir, the Cantilena Singers and the Southern Cross Dancers were also announced as part of the line-up.
Australian Army Band Kapooka conductor Major Peter Thomas said the event "passes the Christmas spirit through the Wagga community".
"Usually, people are so busy and hectic at that time of year, so the spectacular just gives people that chance to enjoy the Christmas season for what it is - a time of celebration," he said.
The popular annual event raises money for disability support services organisation Kurrajong Waratah.
Last year, more than 2000 people attended the concert.
Harry Mangelsdorf, 14, will be singing in his first performance at the Christmas Spectacular.
He said the promise of performing in front of a big crowd with the Australian Army Band Kapooka excited him.
"To sing with all those people will be a big and great experience," he said.
The 2014 Christmas Spectacular will be staged at Wagga Music Bowl on December 14.
