A 64-YEAR-OLD man was taken by helicopter to Albury Base Hospital after a single-vehicle-accident yesterday.

The man was travelling south along the Hume Highway between Tarcutta Road and Tumbarumba Road when his Subaru veered off the road.
Police said the car rolled several times landing in scrub at 10.40am.
Another driver witnessed the accident and called emergency services who attended the scene.
The man was trapped in the car for several hours.
He was released and taken by helicopter to hospital around noon.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident, which they believe could be fatigue related.
The car was destroyed and towed shortly after the man was freed.
