That's right – police have given him more than 50 tickets for illegally riding his push bike.
To make matters worse, Joshua Forster told police at the time of his last arrest, "this is a joke and you're just wasting your time".
"I don't care what you do, I'll just get some more fines and add them to the ones I already have," he said.
If ever a kid needs some good, old-fashioned justice, it's him.
This belligerent teenager shows absolutely no respect for the law and it's time he was given a lesson in life.
He's just a menace to both himself and the Young community in general.
In the latest incident police stopped Forster when they saw him "flying" along the Young main street footpath on his BMX bike. The bike had no brakes.
Police told Young court several pedestrians were fearful for their safety because of his actions.
But at this stage, it appears nothing the police can say or do can stop his wanton behaviour.
Unfortunately, it appears they are receiving little support from the bench.
For his latest indiscretions Forster was convicted and fined $150.
This was his 50th-plus offence yet he was only fined $150 – and it appears he won't pay it anyway.
This habitual offender just has to be dealt with far more harshly.
He really needs a change of attitude.
The police have more than enough to contend with without wasting their time on this young rebel.
The police, and for that matter the courts, should be given more power to deal with Forster, and those of his ilk, more severely.
Perhaps a night or two in the cells might change his tune. Certainly it would do no harm.
People are well and truly fed up with out-of-control teenagers like this.
It's high time the authorities were given support from our legislators so these truculent individuals can be dealt with once and for all.
If they were the community could only benefit and our streets would be a great deal more peaceful.
Let's hope some positive action isn't too far away.
