To signal the end of October's national mental health month volunteers from headspace's Wagga branch organised a Halloween-themed trivia night in the Victory Memorial Gardens.
To tie in with the month's theme - be YOUnique - attendees were encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes.
Co-organiser Ashley Whicker, who travels from Junee to join in weekly headspace meetings, said the night was a good opportunity to chill out and relax with friends.
"It's to get people out and socialise," she said.
"It's just a happy atmosphere."
In balmy conditions, keen punters sat on picnic rugs listening to music and enjoying different snacks.
As a headspace volunteer, Ms Whicker often travels to different regions, throwing events and talking to people.
"I've just been to Lockhart," she said.
"It's a good thing to promote mental wellbeing.
"Staying home can be isolating and going out really helps with your mood."
Before becoming a volunteer Ms Whicker had been involved in headspace and sought help from their services.
"It helped me and I like to give back," she said.
The trivia questions, while mainly Halloween-based, where interwoven with questions about mental health to promote awareness.
"We want to promote headspace and show people they are there and open for help and support."
