Emergency services were called to the crash between a panel van and a motorcycle on the Kidman Way, about 5km north of the town, on October 14.

The male rider, 58-year-old Michael Kelton from Darlington Point, died at the scene.

The driver of the panel van, a 70-year-old Griffith man, was not injured.

The man attended Griffith police station on Friday, where he was issued with a field court attendance notice for dangerous driving causing death and negligent driving cause death.

He will appear in Griffith Local Court on December 3.

Griffith police have urged anyone with information who hasn't been interviewed by detectives to contact them or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

TWO teenagers will front court next month over a break-in at a Hillston business at the weekend.

According to police, thieves broke into the service station between 4am and 4.20am on Saturday and stole an amount of property.

Investigations by police attached to Griffith and Darling River commands at the weekend resulted in the two male offenders - aged 17 and 19 - arrested in Cobar.

The 17-year-old was arrested Saturday and charged with break and enter.

He will appear before Cobar Children's Court on November 12.

The older man was arrested the following day and also charged with break and enter.

He will front Cobar Local Court on the same date.

POLICE have appealed for public assistance to identify a vehicle and the people responsible for an aggravated break and enter in Griffith at the weekend.

About 7pm on Saturday, police say two men forced their way into a Wakaden Street unit, threatened the occupant and stole property.

The men were seen in a white Holden commodore sedan that was parked between Whitton and Barellan streets.

Meanwhile, police are also investigating a break-in on Rose Road, involving a similar white Holden commodore, about 5pm on Sunday.
