A URANQUINTY man has been issued more than $2000 in fines for what police have described as "drunk and disorderly behaviour" during the Group Nine grand final.

According to police, the 30-year old was asked to leave by security staff due to his level of intoxication and officers - who were patrolling Equex - intervened when he initially refused.
The man left the venue before he returned a short time later and attempted to gain entry via another gate.
Officers were again patrolling the venue and spotted the man back inside the licensed premise.
He was arrested and taken to Wagga police station where he was later released into the care of his father.
The man was issued with fines totalling $2200 for refusing to leave licensed premises, excluded person attempt to re-enter licensed premises, excluded person remain in vicinity and re-enter licensed premises.
"If you are intoxicated, violent, quarrelsome, disorderly and asked to leave by bar staff or security at a licensed venue and refuse to comply with the direction you are committing an offence," police said in a statement.
