At council's September ordinary meeting on Tuesday afternoon, there were no challengers to mayor Bill Sheaffe or deputy mayor Michael Rutledge.
Meanwhile, Albury mayor Kevin Mack had to withstand a challenge from former mayor Alice Glachan to retain his position on Monday night.
Cr Mack won an election by six votes to three.
The job of deputy mayor went to Cr Ross Jackson 5-4 over Cr Graham Docksey after Cr Henk van de Ven decided not to stand for re-election.
