Owner-trainer Craig Price is adamant he will not be tempted to sell Cosmic Price at "any price".
And Price is so determined to retain ownership of "the white dog" he has already rejected a massive offer $30,000 for the star greyhound.
"There's been a lot of interesting in buying him (Cosmic Prince)," Price said yesterday.
"Three people in Sydney want him, and there's one from Victoria who would like to get him as well."
Despite the queue of high-rollers chasing Cosmic Prince, Price has no intention of selling the best greyhound in the city.
"The money side doesn't really come into it," Price said.
"I know $30,000 is lot of money, but you can actually get that sort of money for winning races in Sydney or Melbourne."
With Cosmic Prince set to headline the Wagga Greyhound Racing Club meeting at Wagga Showground tomorrow night, Price is also ready to target richer spoils.
In a strategic move, Price is keen to transfer Cosmic Prince to a metropolitan trainer and give the dog a chance to fulfil his "potential".
"I'd like to work a deal with a trainer in Sydney or Melbourne," Price said.
"The normal thing would be 50-50 (on prizemoney).
"I'd only send him to a full-time trainer … a professional who makes his living out the sport.
"I'd like to find a trainer with maybe a dozen dogs, not 50."
Beforehand, however, Price is hoping Cosmic Prince can continue his sensational winning streak in Wagga tomorrow night.
Cosmic Prince has won five of his last six starts at the track, including the last four on end.
Significantly, the pride of the Price kennel will step up in distance to contest the Graeme Hull Smash Repairs Stake (525m) tomorrow night
Over the past five weeks, Cosmic Prince has triumphed over 400m and 320m (three times) at Wagga, but is even more potent over 525m.
Although Price says Cosmic Prince's box eight draw is not perfect, the greyhound is a $1.70 favourite.
"I'd rather him to be in the one (box)," Price said.
"At least he will get a bit of room (out wide)."
Ironically, Price also has Parrydise Storm engaged in the Graeme Hull Smash Repairs Stake and has the number one box.
Fast approaching his third birthday in December, Cosmic Prince is in his racing prime - a fact not lost on his astute owner-trainer.
