Wagga City Councillor resolved behind closed doors at Monday night's supplementary meeting to enter into a contract with Schneider Electric Buildings Australia Pty Ltd to design and construct the CCTV network.
It comes after a decision last month to subject the $1,005,623 deal to successful negotiations of contract liability issues.
The resolution at Monday night's meeting indicated the "the negotiated position" had been noted.
It is understood decision was made shortly before the meeting ended at 11.52pm, following a lengthy policy and strategy committee meeting.
The policy and strategy meeting also heard modifications had been made to the council's CCTV policy to ensure the document didn't "create an expectation council was taking on the responsibility of ensuring the public's safety".
More to come.
