The police watchdog kept true to its record of keeping tight-lipped when it comes to commenting on current investigations.
"We don't have anything to add," a spokeswoman for the commission said.
On May 3, the PIC said it was investigating the response made to a call made from a Monash Street house at 6.35pm on December 16.
It is alleged that some time after the call, 50-year-old Kenneth Wayne Parker was stabbed to death by his wife Marianne.
Police did not attend the scene until 7.45pm.
Mrs Parker has been charged with murder and is now before the courts.
If the PIC does not hold a public hearing into the alleged call, it is unlikely anything will be made known about the probe unless it appears as a case study in the organisation's annual report to parliament.
