Titled Don't Rain On Our Parade, the concert will be presented by the Australian Army Band Kapooka.
It will feature a variety of music representing the many aspects of a musician's day.
The event will be held in the Wagga Commercial Club's Nathan Room.
Tickets are being sold until 3pm Friday.
They cost $30 and include a light finger food supper served at interval.
To order tickets online go to www.waggarsl.com.au, or telephone the club on 69213012.
Pre-paid tickets can be collected at the door on Saturday night.
Doors to the Nathan Room will be opened about 40 minutes before the start of the show at 7.30pm.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit Legacy in Wagga.
The organisation's annual fund-raising appeal will be held in the first week of September.
Legacy acting publicity officer Deidre Tome said Legacy supported about 1000 widows of deceased or incapacitated veterans and their dependents in an area stretching from the Southern Highlands through to Young, Cootamundra, Junee, Temora, Narrandera, Wagga and Deniliquin.
Dependents are usually aged under 18, but some veterans have aging children with disabilities that are cared for by Legacy.
