The Trail Street store is one of 16 that will be shut down by the receivers of DSG Group, with the doors shut to the public for the final time on Sunday, August 24.
It will leave 35 locals without work - some have worked in the store for 10 years.
While they might be disappointed, staff aren't letting the closure get to them with morale remaining high.
"We're going to leave on a high note, we haven't given up," a staff member said yesterday.
"Just about every customer has said they're sad to see the shop go.
"We'd love to have people down here picking up the bargains while they still can."
Receivers KordaMentha Restructuring is confident it will be able to pay the $10 million of entitlements for 350 staff affected by the shut-down, thanks to the closing down sale.
"This is thanks to the wonderful support of the local communities who have supported the 50 per cent off sales in the past month," receiver Rahul Goyal said.
