WITH coach Seru Rogo wielding the selection axe, Fijian flyer Dan Rawaqa has been moved to five-eighth for Griffith's game against CSU tomorrow.
Rogo dropped three players for not training in the big win over Ag College and Vaea Mateo hasn't been able to force his way back into the team.
Mateo, Semisi Rogoyawa and Luke Talakuli were all forced to start from the sidelines in Griffith's fifth straight win, but only Mateo hasn't come back in.
Talakuli returns at flanker while Rogoyawa will take over the custodial role vacated by Rawaqa.
Rogoyawa played parts of the Ag College game at fullback and Rogo thought the best option for the team was to start Rawaqa in closer to the ruck.
"It works wells and I'm so fortunate that I've got all these players that can play different positions and excel," Rogo said.
"Unfortunately Vaea hasn't regained his spot because of the depth and the players we have that played in those positions."
Andries de Meyer has been given another week off to rest niggling injuries while Rogo is searching for a replacement for Tino Kaue, who had a family emergency in Brisbane.
Two points separate the teams and with finals a fortnight away, both have plenty to for.
"We both are desperate for a win, they have won one game in the top six split and we want to maintain our spot up there in the four," Rogo said.
"We are preparing well for it and I'm sure CSU are doing the same thing."
Rogo said he was "very worried" about the clash, after the Reddies recorded a 26-5 win over the Blacks at Griffith.
"They were one of the teams that beat us in our four straight losses and CSU is always a hard team to play against," he said.
"The Blacks are always wary going into weekend games against CSU and its the same thing this weekend.
"CSU knows very well how to play us and our weaknesses so hopefully we will come well prepared."
The CSU-Griffith game is the second of at double header at Beres Ellwood Oval tomorrow, playing after the game between Ag College and Albury.
