MARRAR coach Clint Taylor is tossing up his forward line options as he looks to add an element of "unpredictability" to the Bombers' game.
Marrar has maintained the same spine for the majority of the season, with Chase Macintosh playing full forward and Brad Turner playing centre half-forward, alongside the regular flanks and pockets.
Macintosh, having kicked 36 goals in the opening nine rounds of the season, has now gone four outings without a major.
During Saturday's big win over Charles Sturt University, Bombers ruckman Shannon Williams and small forward Graeme Reid booted five apiece, and second ruckman Nathan Smith bagged two when resting forward.
Taylor is now considering mixing up his forward six just three weeks out from finals.
"Slowy (Williams) showed us what he can do up forward, and we have a lot of smaller guys who can play forward, so at least we have those options there," Taylor said.
"We want to focus on not being so predictable, especially going into our forward line.
"We tend to kick to Turns a lot and we can probably be a bit too predictable at times.
"We tried a few different things last week against CSU and we can probably try a few things against the Jets this week as well."
Marrar broke a three-game losing streak when it thumped Farrer League battler CSU by 165 points at the weekend.
Taylor believes the win signalled a return to form and wants the Bombers to prove it when they travel to Ariah Park on Saturday.
The Jets have been riddled with injuries and are destined to miss out on playing finals, but the Marrar coach is wary of the old rival.
"They are always tough, especially over there, so we need to play well," Taylor said.
Taylor will return from a hamstring injury to line up at Ariah Park.
Injury clouds hang over Turner (shoulder), Bryce Graetz (hip) and Andrew White (hamstring) who will all need to pass a fitness test before playing.
The Bombers will lose young midfielder Callum Gardner through concussion and experienced defender Jarrod Gornall is unavailable.
