CHARLES Sturt University coach Brett Garrett will spend the remainder of the Farrer League season instructing from the sideline after being rubbed out for three games by AFL Riverina's independent tribunal.
Garrett was cited by Marrar following Saturday's round 13 game at Langtry Oval for an incident which left young Bombers player Callum Gardner unconscious.
He pleaded guilty to "reckless striking" at the hearing on Wednesday night and was found guilty of striking.
Taking into consideration a previously clean record, the tribunal handed him a three-week suspension.
He will be eligible to return in round one next year.
