TAFE Riverina's "Learner Questionnaire" survey saw the organisation record a 96 per cent satisfaction rating from students, a record high result.
Students Brendan Perrott, Joshua Lancaster and Krystal Davis, who are studying for their HSC at TAFE Riverina, all said on Wednesday they thoroughly enjoyed the tuition they were receiving.
All three expressed the sentiment that, with TAFE offering a very different framework of learning to high schools, they were engaged and content in their studies.
"The high school experience, it's a very ordered situation," Mr Lancaster said.
"TAFE is a lot more adult, they focus on your needs a lot more."
Mr Perrott said the teachers at TAFE were more laid back than at high school, while Ms Davis said the best thing about studying there was her teachers giving her a hand with her studies.
But the trio will be among the last group of students to sit for their HSC at TAFE Riverina, with the Institute revealing in March it planned to scrap the course due to declining demand.
The results of the survey have been welcomed by Institute director Kerry Penton, who said the feedback showed management were on the right track.
"We listen to our students, and actively seeking out their feedback is the perfect way for them to let us know what they like and what we can improve on to make their learning journey even better," she said.
"I think (the result) is a reflection of the dedication of our teaching staff and the support given to them by all other Riverina Institute staff."
The high level of student satisfaction at TAFE Riverina this year comes despite the organisation enduring tough times of late, having been forced to cut 23 jobs last November as part of a comprehensive restructure.
