Police attended a Blackett Avenue house following a complaint regarding malicious damage.
Officers then went next door to speak to the 44-year-old woman, whom the complaint was made about, who police say was "very intoxicated" and had blood on her knuckles.
According to police, the woman admitted to smashing the glass around the door of the property next door after believing that home's occupant had rung police to complain about loud music.
The woman then attempted to run from police, who restrained her, put her in handcuffs and placed her in the rear of a paddywagon.
As police attempted to put her in the vehicle, her daughter positioned herself between police and her mother to attempt to stop police taking her away.
After being moved away twice by police, the 28-year-old woman allegedly slapped an officer in the face several times.
The pair will appear in Young Local Court after being charged over the incident.
