A WAGGA man has pleaded not guilty to supplying methamphetamine (ice).
Matthew John Mullins, 26, was arrested at a Forest Hill house on Friday afternoon and charged with five offences.
He was refused bail firstly by police on Friday and then by a court registrar on Saturday, but had better luck on Monday when he appeared in Wagga Local Court represented by solicitor David Barron.
Police who executed a search warrant on a house in Eldershaw Drive allegedly discovered ice and cannabis as well as men's cologne suspected of being stolen.
In court on Monday, Mullins pleaded guilty to possessing the cannabis, but not guilty to supplying ice.
He also denied the stolen goods charge.
Magistrate Michael Antrum granted Mullins bail and adjourned the case until September 10 for Mr Barron to reply to the police brief of evidence and to set a hearing date.
It is expected two other charges - knowingly taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug (ice) and supplying a prohibited plant - will be withdrawn by police.
