THE Rock-Yerong Creek has successfully had a three-game ban imposed on talented import Dennis Pedemont downgraded.
The Magpies were left fuming over the three-week sentence following AFL Riverina's independent tribunal finding Pedemont guilty of striking at last week's hearing.
The Farrer League club opted to appeal the suspension and took the matter to AFL NSW-ACT.
The appeal was heard at AFL House in Wagga last night and a different tribunal panel agreed to reduce the sentence to two games.
Pedemont will sit out tomorrow's game but will be eligible for a return next week.
Meantime, experienced Marrar defender Jarrod Gornall is free to play against CSU tomorrow after he was given a reprimand by the independent tribunal last night.
Gornall was cited by Temora for an alleged strike on Kangaroos forward Matt Harpley during Saturday's clash at Langtry Oval.
He pleaded guilty to striking but the tribunal considered his 300-game clean record when deciding on the penalty.
