TURVEY Park has an injury list to rival any other as it looks to finish off an improved season as best as it possibly can.
The Bulldogs picked up another four injuries in last weekend's loss to Wagga Tigers, to go with two season-ending blows the fortnight before.
Turvey Park captain-coach Chris Cerato said the Bulldogs' list is not in great shape ahead of Saturday's game against Narrandera at Maher Oval.
"We can't take a trick," Cerato said.
"We ended up with no bench last week and that's the first game that's happened.
"They all happened pretty early too.
"It hurts us a bit but there's not much you can do.
"We'll see whose right to come up this week."
Truman Carroll played his first game of the season last weekend but sustained a groin injury early and will not play again.
Trav Rowley (ankle), Ayden Hill (kneecap) and Brendan Bryce (hamstring) were the others to go down.
Those four injuries come on the back of losing Dan Ryall and Jeff Fletcher for the season.
Tim Doyle (foot) and Tom Gaynor (shoulder) also remain on the injured list but Turvey Park hope to get both back in coming weeks.
Cerato said all the Bulldogs can do is prepare for the Narrandera game as best as they can.
"We trained pretty hard on Tuesday night to try and get a bit more run in the legs," he said.
"We looked flat last weekend, we didn't have much run.
"We'll just try to get a good preparation going into the game so we can give it our best."
Narrandera will be without talented teenage ruckman Matt Flynn due to representative duties.
That came as a huge relief to the Bulldogs camp after Flynn tore them apart in Narrandera's 33-point win earlier in the year.
Cerato said Turvey Park was keen to get one back on Narrandera.
"For sure, you've got to go into every game positive," he said.
"Hopefully the young blokes can step up and be consistent."
Turvey Park need a win after losing its past six games.
During that time, the Bulldogs have averaged a touch over six goals game.
Cerato admits they need more goals.
"We've just got to keep pumping it in there," he said.
"We'll try to get the match-ups right to get someone on top.
"It's been a battle all year.
"We'll try to keep running hard and get the ball in there."
