The cars were struck by rocks on Glenfield and Red Hill roads in Tolland and Glenfield Park between 7.35pm and 8.25pm.
Crime manager Detective Inspector Darren Cloake said considerable panel and window damage was caused as a result.
One had its windscreen smashed.
"No one was injured, but it is obviously a concern to us," Inspector Cloake said.
Police patrolled the area, but were unable to find anyone in nearby bush trails or lane ways.
The incidents follow recent rock attacks in the same area and Inspector Cloake said officers will be actively patrolling in an attempt to identify those responsible.
Police say it could be just a matter of time before a driver, or passenger, is seriously injured.
In June, the front windscreen of Ford Falcon was smashed by a large rock or brick on Glenfield Road.
Anyone with information should call Wagga police station on 6922 2599 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
