WAGGA teenager Brandon Demmery has continued his rise, winning the FXRRC championship at Goulburn on Sunday.
Coming into the third and final round of the championship at Wakefield Park, Demmery qualified in second place.
But he soon lit up the track recording four wins from four starts of the Noiseguard Ninja 300 to take out the overall championship this year.
Due to age restrictions it was the first time Demmery was able to compete on the circuit.
Goulburn will also host two rounds of the Australasian Superbike Championships (ASC) this season and Demmery and his team thought it would be great learning experience.
"To turn as many laps as possible on the tight track was our goal this year," Demmery said.
"We have been able to fine tune the set up of the bike, and will go into the ASC round at Wakefield with the best set up possible."
After competing against some of best riders in the world at Malaysia earlier this year Demmery's next focus is the Winton round of the ASC on August 1-3.
"I have had a test session at the track, and feel we made some great improvements to the bike (and rider)," Demmery said.
"I like the circuit, and hope to maintain my championship lead."
