WAGGA United coach Travis Weir says the Crows are continually building towards Football Wagga finals as they chase back-to-back titles.
The reigning premier scored another easy victory over competition battler South Wagga yesterday to retain top spot on the ladder.
United never appeared to be troubled as it dominated possession and put five goals past its opposition to win 5-0.
Ryan McKenzie scored twice and was unlucky not to bag three when he found the back of the net late in the game but was signalled offside by the linesman.
Zeph Daniels also scored a double as the Crows did it easy.
South Wagga keeper Stephen Burns worked tirelessly to thwart countless United strikes.
Weir admitted the Crows could have won by more but was generally pleased with the performance.
"That's what we wanted," Weir said.
"We wanted to focus on our shape and try to keep the ball, try to stay focused when we were on the ball too.
"(I'm) happy with the result, the scoreline is a bit different to last time but we kept the ball well and that was probably the most important thing.
"Prizing possession, that's what we put it down to every week.
"Death by football they call it.
"We never really looked in danger of conceding a goal so that was probably the more promising thing."
Weir took the chance to make some late substitutions and gave the majority of his squad a run during the game.

McKenzie and Nick Donato were solid with the ball and created plenty of scoring opportunities, but it was a classic team performance from the winners.
The coach, however, knows there is plenty of work to do leading into finals.
The Crows haven't been able to train properly for the past month due to a number of Wagga sporting grounds being off-limits to clubs.
"We haven't trained for four weeks and that makes it hard," Weir said.
"You can probably see it in the fitness of the players, but our shape and our discipline has been pretty good.
"We'll work on those little things."
United will now lose Eugine Rauber as he becomes unavailable for six weeks and will return just in time for the grand final, if the Crows qualify.
They do, however, get sweeper Lincoln Weir back from work commitments and he will slot straight into the backline.
