Despite signs on the door that appear to tell the story, the future of discount store remains unclear.
The words "closing down sale" would have been hard for shoppers to miss as they headed into the Trail Street shop to bag a bargain at the weekend.
But, when approached by The Daily Advertiser on Sunday, store management couldn't discount its uncertain future.
A senior staff member, who preferred not to be named, confirmed the store had been told to go into "close down mode".
Whether that spells closure is yet to be determined - it is understood no date had been set, but the Advertiser has learned it could be during August.
If the store closes, 25 jobs will be lost.
"It's a sad thing that everyone loses their jobs," the staff member said.
"Some staff have been here for a long time."
The future of the store - which opened at its current site in 2002 - has been in limbo for almost two years, after its parent company was placed into voluntary administration in October 2012.
At that time, it was confirmed businesses operating under Retail Adventures - including Sam's Warehouse, Go-Lo and Chickenfeed stores - would close.
Limited information was provided in store on Sunday, with the Advertiser told detailed comment would have to come from the company's head office.
