Police allege the white 2009-model Toyota utility was stolen on Thursday night and driven at speeds of up to 175km/h in a 100km/h zone, overtaking a number of vehicles.
The man was arrested after the ute ran off the road at Forbes about 8.35am on Friday.
He was taken to Forbes District Hospital before being transferred to Orange Base Hospital for further testing.
Police have been told his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The man, from Young, had his licence suspended and will be issued with a future service court attendance notice for the offences of illegal use of a conveyance, drive in a manner dangerous, being an unaccompanied learner, and not display L-plates.
A DISQUALIFIED driver has been charged after she was stopped for a breath test in Wagga on Friday.
The woman was stopped on Wilson Street about 3.20pm.
Despite returning a negative test, the 21-year-old was arrested after checks revealed she had previously been disqualified from driving until 2020.
The driver was taken to Wagga police station and charged with driving while disqualified.
She was granted bail to appear in Wagga Local Court on May 21.
