The son of Always A Virgin moved to his new base on Friday with trainer and part-owner Ben Matthews' work commitments the main reason for the move.
"I'm travelling and working out at Balranald for a month so he has gone up there for a few months," Matthews said.
"The Breeders Challenege is on in a month so there is enough races for him up there and there are more races there than there are here for him."
The win in the MIA Breeders Plate has been the two-year-old's only victory this season though he was finished no worse than second in all but one of his six starts.
After finishing 8th in his heat of the Bathurst Gold Crown he finished second to Athol White's Riley James at Wagga on April 4 before Matthews decided to send him to Rixon.
The move will also enable Rich Virgin to work with other horses.
"When I work him early in the morning I don't get the opportunity to work him with anything so that's another reason for the move and hopefully it will help him," Matthews said.

In a close finish Temporary Use was just able to get the better of Great Investment winning by a half neck with Louboutin a further short half head away in third.
Running a career best mile rate of 1:57.3 Hewitt has got the six-year-old mare back in form after a couple of disappointing runs.
"She's back to a bit of form there as back in January she was flying and had a few moderate runs in between but her last couple have been really good again," David said.
Verdot was a strong winner in 1:58.5 after she was able to get an inside run when favourite Insanity shifted off the pegs in the home straight.
David almost had a third winner but Toolijooa Dawn couldn't quite chase down Kyalla Luke who won by a head in a new track record time of 1:56.8 in the second of the Menangle Country Series heats.
Brad produced Im Jay Tee who put on a dominant performance to win on his Australian debut by 12.4 metres.
After coming into the race as a bit of an unknown quantity without a trial David was impressed by turn of speed the three-year-old showed.
"He seems a nice little horse we just don't know much about him yet but I think he will keep on improving," David said.
