Mr O'Farrell stood down as Premier this morning after after a hand-written note thanking lobbyist Nick Di Girolamo was presented to the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
His Wagga and Murrumbidgee party members - Daryl Maguire and Adrian Piccoli - are yet to return calls to The Daily Advertiser and Junee Southern Cross journalists.
Mr Piccoli was quoted by media sources as saying he believes "It's a shame that one of our (NSW's) best premiers has been brought down over a $3000 bottle of wine."
Furthermore, he lamented the context of the ICAC investigation was to understanding the nature of Obeid family business deals.

Member for Albury, Greg Aplin, is unable to comment at this time as he is en route to Europe, a spokesman said.
